علمت «الراي» ان المطرب الكويتي «المعتزل» حسين الاحمد توجه الى افغانستان قبل فترة وجيزة من الوقت للمشاركة في العمليات العسكرية ضد القوات الاجنبية هناك.

وكان الاحمد قال في لقاء سابق مع تلفزيون «الراي» ان سبب هدايته «منام رأيته ورأيت فيه رحلتي للدار الآخرة ابتداء من قبض ملك الموت لروحي الى دخولي للقبر، فرأيت اهوالا واحوالا لم يرها احد قبلي والعلم عند الله فلما استيقظت من نومي حمدت الله على انني مازلت في الحياة وان الله امهلني فلم يقبض روحي فاعلنت عندها امام والديّ واخواني واهلي اعتزالي للوسط المظلم الكريه وانني وعدت ان احذر على قدر استطاعتي من هذا الوسط الذي اغتر به الكثير وان أسوأ لحظات عمري واشقاها هي التي قضيتها هناك مع الفن واشعر ان ايامي الجميلة هي ايامي اليوم فانني اعيش مع الله من الصباح الى المساء، أعيش مع الاذكار والقرآن، اعيش مع اشرطة القرآن والدروس».
