So, for my fourth post, I thought I'd start a "What you listening to?" thread, usually they're pretty good threads I reckon!

Right now, I'm listening to:

Pavement - 'Slanted And Enchanted'

An album on Matador Records.

Pavement were a great band and they were the only band, that I'd allow to sound so upfront about being influenced by The Fall....as my username ...of J.Temperance suggests, I adore The Fall ("The Impression of J.Temperance" off the album "Grotesque").

I'm listening to Bach's Cantata BWV 82 - "Ich habe genug". To be followed by either by the Christmas Oratorio or the St. Matthew Passion.

I haven't listened to Pavement in ages now, but I LOVE The Fall! All of their albums actually, although songs like The Classical are firm favorites of mine. Still, I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite Fall record or song as they're all great.

Cool :) Actually I've just been listening to "Hex Enduction Hour", which "The Classical" is track one on that album, fab stuff!

I think my very favorite album by The Fall is "This Nations Saving Grace".
