For some reason, I hate concerts. One of the better ones I have gone to was the Allman Bros. when Greg had to do free shows as a condition of probation or something. Bunch of strung out bikers there. Very odd.

My parents started off taking me to John Denver concerts when I was a toddler, so I blame them for everything that follows. :add09:

I've seen the usual 80's people and bands -- George Michael, Prince during the Purple Rain Tour, Madonna, Duran Duran, Billy Idol and people of that ilk.

I'm not a big fan of concerts and prefer going to clubs to see bands play. These people top my list
of those bands or artists that I enjoyed the most:

Morrissey (loads of times and different cities, countries, etc.)

Wire (several times -- Graham Lewis is a man with taste)

John Cale of the Velvet Underground

Kraftwerk

Mission of Burma

Cheap Trick (good show, but having a guitar pick thrown down the front of my shirt into my cleavage by the guitarist at the start of the show worried me -- that and the roadie they stuck on me to try to convince me how fun it would be to go backstage afterwards. Not gonna happen, dude.)

Mark Eitzel of American Music Club

Television (AMAZING show and band, and cool guys to boot)

Garbage (Shirley Manson is a sweetheart)

Steve Albini w/Shellac (the man is tiny, but not one to be trifled with. He let me sit backstage on some monitors when I felt horribly ill at a show one night, so I'm forever in his debt)
