Carried over form other board...discuss various methods of encrypting images and other data.
StegHide, StegDetect, etc etc
Also, post images you feel have embedded data in them

I have the source code for StegDetect... I will compile it for Win32, Linux and Mac, and post both the binaries and source code (for those who wish to attempt to compile it). I will also post MD5 hashes of the binary files to prevent tampering.

very interested in that.... especially now... with the surfing I'm doing in research..... would like to know if something is embedded.... a while back I caught a virus of some kind and did a system scan.... and damned if a JPG pic was the only thing it pulled up... and it was a pic from Arabia.... got rid of it.. but never knew what it was about

I found a program that will scan an entire website for images with steganographic data. I'll find the link for it again and post the link.

The program I mentioned above is expensive, so I am writing an open source version, and will be posting the version .1 source when it is finished. It will be cross platform, so I will provide binaries for anyone that isn't brave enough to compile it for themselves. :add09:
Anyone with C / C++ experience can add to, modify, or take something away that isn't necessary. It's for anyone to do whatever they want with it, except sell it. It is to remain completely free. Once I have the first version up and people are playing with it, I will give you a site that has images known to contain steganographic data for you guys to test it on. If you can think of any improvements, get ahold of me through the PM system here.

If someone could write a Firefox plugin that would scan sites, that would be sweet =)

Not sure what thread to put this in.
http://ctc.usma.edu/imagery_geography.asp
It's a discussion of visual motifs in internet jihadi propaganda. It includes a couple of specimens from tajdeed in Londinistan.

A new Londonistan forum:
http://poj1225.muslimhackers.com
Run by a female "Umm Muwahidah" (mother of a monotheist, which sounds like a convert's choice of handle).

An elaborate Londonistan website
http://www.thepathtoparadise.com/
was recently emptied. The guy running it (or who used to run it) is a fan of Abu Baseer at-Tartusi. Maybe the site was hacked. Dunno. A reaction from Tartusi or his fan club might indicate what happened.

Another Londonistani at wordpress:
http://caucasus.wordpress.com/
He copies stuff from Kavkaz and other Londonistani sites. He could be in immediate contact with Zakayev or some affiliated anti-Moscow fugitive.
