Al Qaeda chief in UK terror attack call

An Al Qaeda chief is urging extremists to carry out more terror attacks against Britain ahead of the fifth anniversay of 9/11.

In a chilling message issued on the Internet, Abu Musab al-Suri has ordered terror cells across Europe to "awaken" and "move fast" over his calls to action.

According to reports, his rant has been posted on 20 Al Qaeda linked websites.

In it he says: "Let our sleeping cells wake, the war is at its apex. The enemy is about to collapse.
"We warn Britain: respect Muslim scholars in general or jihad people in particular. Doing anything to harm them and your country will pay a high price."

Al-suri, formerly of Neasden, North London, was caught in Pakistan last year and is thought to be held at a secret jail in America.

And he transferred about ( Ar by me is Aydi ) and he is a deputy previous to the terrorism fighting manager in the National Security Council in the epoch of the former president Bill Clinton the saying the importance of the reward may be attributed to Al-Zarqawi 's role in Iraq, but I lean a more to the belief is that it from the first declared steps in new efforts to Bush 's administration concentrates on the prevention without the occurence of the weapons of mass destruction in the terrorists hands . And the statement has included a total of the lies mixed with some of the truths ....

A recently issued statement from the spokesman for Abu Musab al-Suri, Abdul al-Tawab al-Shami, confirms the arrest of the al-Qaeda operative, and in addition, includes a speech from al-Suri, over one hour in length, as well a 17-page transcript of this oration, concerning his alleged complicity in the July 7, 2005 London bombings and the new British government regulations concerning Muslims. In the speech, al-Suri alleges innocence and having no connection with the attacks in London, or those in Madrid in 2005 and Paris in 1995; however, confirms his support to these attacks. Further, he castigates those governments who maintain a military presence in Muslim lands and urges the mujahideen residing within Europe to “move fast” to attack Britain, Italy, Holland, Denmark, Germany, France, as well as Russia, Australia, and Japan.

The statement from Abdul al-Tawab al-Shami indicates that al-Suri was arrested approximately three months ago, rather than “lately” as reported by the media, and the speech regarding London was withheld due to “security reasons.” For additional information, Al-Shami directs readers to al-Suri’s will (http://siteinstitute.org/bin/articles.cgi?ID=publications116005&Category=publications&Subcategory=0) , as well as his 1,600-page book,

Abu Musab al-Suri’s message calls for an immediate jihad amongst the mujahideen from Syria and Lebanon against France, stating: “On this occasion I asked for the mujahideen from Syria, Lebanon, and al-Sham as well as others…to hit France and target it now in all of its land and its interests everywhere just as they hit and attacked others”.

Al-Suri elaborates upon three points in his speech: the collective argument of the “jihadists” against their enemies, his innocence in the explosions in London, Madrid, and Paris, and warning to the British and European governments, as well as other “general enemies”. He argues that al-Qaeda made it explicit to the Western governments that their continued abuse and encroachment upon resources and politics within Muslim lands would end fruitless debate and the Muslims would take up arms. Al-Suri indicates that the British received the sternest of warnings in this regard. He explains the position the jihadists in Britain during the mid-1990’s through the ascendancy of Tony Blair to Prime Minister, and of some of their exit to Afghanistan.

Though he took pleasure in the London bombings, al-Suri states he had nothing to do with its planning or execution. He reiterates this same claim about Madrid and Paris, though he “reveals” that he is the one who drew the picture of an “Eiffel Tower exploding in pieces.” Al-Suri saves his harshest vitriol for France, condemning its government and promising attacks for its aggression in Syria, Lebanon, Bosnia, Algeria, Afghanistan, and for an “active role in NATO” and forbidding Muslim women to wear hijab. Concerning Spain, he urges its government to ask the European Union to accept the truce for non-aggression as laid out by Usama bin Laden. However, for those states he condemns, al-Suri states: “Let our sleeping cells wake up, the war is at its apex. The enemy is about to collapse. This is obvious now. Those who sleep now maybe will not participate when they wake up.”

Media reports indicate that a suspect believed to be Abu Musab al-Suri was captured in Quetta, Pakistan during the beginning of November 2005. Abu Musab al-Suri, AKA Mustafa Sitmaryan Nassar, or Umar Abd al-Hakim, is an al-Qaeda operative who ran terrorist training camps in Afghanistan and instructs in poison and chemical warfare. On November 18, 2004, the U.S. State Department offered a $5 million for information leading to his arrest. Al-Suri, meaning “The Syrian,” was indicted in Spain in 2003 for allegedly training al-Qaeda sleeper cells for deployment in Spain, Italy, and France and is believed to have masterminded the Madrid train bombings in March 2004.

Police say Imam Samudra used a laptop with a wireless connection smuggled into his prison cell to chat with Islamic militants and raise money for last year's October 1 blasts at Kuta and Jimbaran Bay, which killed 20 innocent bystanders, including four Australians.

“Imam Samudra ... directed the fund-raising for the second Bali bombing,” the national police chief of the cyber crime unit, Petrus Golose, said in Jakarta.

“The laptop allowed Imam Samudra to chat without restrictions in Ahlussunnah and CafeIslam chatrooms,” he said referring to religious chatrooms.

“This took place before the second Bali bombing.”

He did not say whether the militant used a mobile phone to connect to the internet.

Watch for new links to appear to it. They probably just changed the entrance page, doing away with the index.htm page. It's causes an extra step when you want to spider or reap.

Alot of the "free" jihad sites do that. They think it hides things and so they link directly to a specific page, document, image or program.

Real Estate Jihad

Last Friday, a plea was issued in the name of jailed Al-Qaida leader, Abu Musaab Al-Suri, calling for attacks on Britain. The message was as follows: “Let our sleeping cells wake, the war is at its apex. The enemy is about to collapse. We warn Britain: respect Muslim scholars in general or jihad people in particular. Doing anything to harm them and your country will pay a high price.”

According to reports, this call was posted to 20 websites associated with Al-Qaida. Mysteriously, it did not make it onto Al-Suri’s own website. But many other things have, including information on the purchase and sale of residential homes in the United States. Al-Suri’s website is a For Sale By Owner real estate company, located in Pepper Pike, Ohio.

On its face, www.fsboa.com is a normal looking real estate site, with property listings and such. The slogan on the site reads, “HELPING BUYERS AND SELLERS MEET THEIR REAL ESTATE GOALS.” However, when one appends to its web address a couple of letters, “vw,” he/she is taken into an entirely different universe – the official website of Syrian terrorist Abu Musaab Al-Suri, al-Muqawama al-Islamiyya al-‘Alamiyya (The International Islamic Resistance).

Al-Suri (a.k.a. Mustafa Setmariam Nasar, a.k.a. Omar Abdul-Hakim, a.k.a. The Syrian) was born in the town of Aleppo, Syria, in 1958. As a young man, he became indoctrinated into al-Tali’a al-Muqatila (The Fighting Vanguard), a violent group linked to the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood. Following the February 2002 massacre that took place in Hama, Syria, carried out by the Baathist army of Hafiz Al-Asad, Al-Suri left his birthright, angered by the secularist Syrian government and disappointed at what he saw as an assimilation of the Brotherhood.

Al-Suri quickly found a home in Afghanistan, fighting against the Soviets, beside the likes of Osama bin Laden and bin Laden’s mentor, Abdullah Azzam. Of the experience, he stated, “I was honored to participate in the Afghani jihad against the Russians and the communists until we exterminated their forces and lowered their flanks and made an example out of them – as we will also do with America, with the help of Allah… I was honored to become acquainted with Shaykh Abdullah Azzam, and I worked with him during the days of the Afghani jihad in 1987. Then in 1988, I was honored by coming to know Shaykh Usama [Bin Laden]… I was honored to become a member of Al-Qaida, and I worked with the group until 1992.” (Evan Kohlman, July 11, 2005)

After his Afghan experience, Al-Suri made his way to Europe, where he would soon be considered one of the most influential leaders of Al-Qaida, suspected of collaboration in numerous terrorist attacks. Today, he is rumored to be sitting in a U.S. prison, having been captured in Pakistan in October of 2005. [In November of 2004, then-Secretary of State Colin Powell authorized a $5 million reward for individuals offering information on Al-Suri’s whereabouts.] Yet, Al-Suri has found a way to get his message out, not only with respect to last week’s plea for attacks, but with the website that was created in his organization’s name.

Al-Suri’s site is used, amongst other things, to publish his teachings. As late as March of 2006, one was able to access his 1600 page textbook, Da`wah lil-Muqawamah al-Islamiyyah al-`Alamiyyah (A Call to Global Islamic Resistance), which calls for a global armed jihad, via his website. As stated by the SITE Institute, in his book, “Al-Suri explicitly calls for attacks on all sectors of the enemy’s influence, both civilian and military. According to his book, the ‘…political, military, economical, educational, missionary, and tourist presence…etc in our countries’ are the primary targets of jihad.”

Today, one can find a video on the site of Al-Suri teaching a class, using a dry erase board and a pamphlet bearing the logo of his organization. This video, along with numerous downloadable documents, including one that extols the virtues of child martyrdom, was placed on the website in April of 2006.

The FSBOA (For Sale By Owner Association) site that houses Al-Suri’s materials is registered to American Capital Funding. The Administrative Contact is Alan Isham of Solon, Ohio. When asked about his site, Isham claimed to be a “silent partner” and stated that his counterpart was “out of town.” It is possible, though, that Isham had no idea about the extra pages on his site, as the company that hosts the website, Liquid Web Inc., has, in the past, had problems with its sites being hacked into by Al-Qaida.

Whatever the case may be, what is absolute is the fact that Abu Musaab Al-Suri, a jailed leader in Al-Qaida, has been able to communicate with the outside world. He is able to call for terrorist attacks, and he is able to have violent information uploaded to his website. Even from behind prison bars, Al-Suri has shown to be a threat. This is not unlike the spiritual guide for those that committed the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, whose lawyer, Lynn Stewart, was convicted, in February of 2003, of smuggling messages from Rahman to his followers in the terrorist organization Gama’a al-Islamiyya (Islamic Group).

Obviously we are doing something wrong, and it needs to be righted immediately. The only contact Al-Suri and his ilk should have with the outside world is with officers who slide their food trays under the door. What is the use of having terrorists behind bars, if it doesn’t even stop them from committing terrorist acts?
