I've not played live for 8 years, don't care to other than parties again, I spent 10 years doing nothing but sitting in taragos & motel/hotels, planes etc, Quite happy to sit down. I was sort of homeless, constantly on tour or staying at girlfriends houses, It was fun but I'm over the lifestyle.

I know what you mean, I stopped playing [exclusively] professionally years ago. It was fun when I was younger.....

Now I just take pick-up gigs, play with a friend in an acoustic duet once a week and play in church. Being in Nashville, I've had the opportunity to play with a lot of amazing players, some famous, some you've never heard of.

Nothing live for me since early '01.

I prefer long one on one talks with the piano.

Quite a few, though one in particular stands out.

I was in a band in high school, and we would frequently practice in a church basement. One day when I was absent from practice, they decided they were going to play "Las Caress" by the Misfits. Yes, in a church. Of a million songs they could have chosen, they chose one about killing and raping mothers and babies.
Anyway, they were all convinced that they were cursed as a result of it, and they had horrible luck for about two weeks. One even believed that he saw two red eyes glaring at him in the dark.
