Would be neat to see what some of you guys listen to.

I don't buy many albums anymore since most albums anymore you get 5 good songs tops mixed with filler, but a couple of the last albums I bought,:

Matisyahu - Youth
Bruce Springsteen - The Seeger Sessions

I really really liked straight through :happy_02:

I stopped buying albums 25 years ago....it's been nothing but CD's since.

For the past 4 days I've been putting all of my CD's in the Fireball component. It's a rather unique system. You pop the CD in, it burns the CD into it's hard drive. I can watch this all from the comfort of my laptop and arrange the music in any category I wish. I have a rather extensive, eclectic collection, and am always looking to add to it.

Yeah, I forgot Moondog 1 & 2. The first part's worth it, but the second leaves a lot to be desired.

Unfortunately, my music selection is quite small. But I am able to pick up a few every now and then.

Tool's 10,000 days

and

Wolfmother's "Mother"

They've been mine for years. Pantera would be a close second.

Right after I said that my music selection at the PX was pretty limited . . . they go and get more cd's for us. Yeehaw. Just bought the new ZAO and Thine Eyes Bleed.

Shadows Fall "Fallout . . ." is a damn good cd. I was expecting b sides and crap, but it is very good.

Mmmm... I adore Shadows Fall. "Of One Blood will always be a favorite of mine though, since it was the first I had heard from them. And I have to say, they can put on quite a show.

Ahhhh damien marley good stuff!

I personally enjoy A Perfect Circle more than Tool, but am a Smashing Pumpkins/James Iha fan too so that may explain it. Maynard has an amazing voice and very interesting vision...

He certainly does. I really like the Pumpkins as well. I just looked up Iha. I had forgotten he played both bands! As far as A Perfect Circle, they lie just below Tool for me. There are similarities, but some people just don't care for the darkness and heaviness of Tool. Some others love Tool, but just don't dig APC. If you ask me, they both rock.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news for you all. APC, for all intents and purposes, are pretty much done. Coming straight from Howerdel's mouth

But that doesn't mean crap, the way that Maynard and company usually make records. ie . . . one record . . . 5 years off .. . another record.

I'm spending too much money...

Incubus - Morning View
The Flaming Lips - At War With The Mystics (Some good tracks and great ideas, but very weird in a way. Not for everyone, to be certain.)

Kubb: Mother
Hard-Fi: Stars of CCTV
Elbow: Leaders of the Free World
Gomez: Split the Difference

Nothing that new but loving it anyway! (as well as old stuff)
