The second man urged in the Al-Qaeda Network Ayman Zawahiri is Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on the sticking to the choice of the resistance after it came to the authority .

أيمن الظواهري طالب بمنع سرقة نفط المسلمين (الجزيرة-أرشيف)


حث الرجل الثاني في تنظيم القاعدة أيمن الظواهري حركة المقاومة الإسلامية الفلسطينية (حماس) على التمسك بخيار المقاومة بعد أن وصلت للسلطة.

وحذر الظواهري في شريط حصلت الجزيرة على نسخة منه، حركة حماس من الاعتراف بمن سماهم "العلمانيين المجرمين" والدخول معهم في مجلس تشريعي واحد، على حد قوله.

وأشار إلى أن الوصول إلى السلطة يجب ألا يكون غاية في حد ذاته بل لأجل تطبيق الشريعة. وقال إن التحاكم لشرع الله أصل من أصول التوحيد، معتبرا أن من سماهم العلمانيين "باعوا فلسطين وهي ليست ملكا لهم حتى يتخلوا عنها".

وقال إن الاعتراف بشرعية السلطة الحالية يعني الاعتراف بالاتفاقات التي وقعتها معتبرا أنها مخالفة للشريعة. وحذر مما سماها اللعبة الأميركية القائمة على الأمر الواقع.

ودعا إلى الرجوع عن هذه الاتفاقيات التي وصفها بالاستسلامية والصفقات الخطيرة مثل اتفاقات مدريد وأوسلو وخارطة الطريق ودعا إلى الرجوع عنها فورا. وأكد أن المقاومة المسلحة ضد المحتل هي الطريق الوحيد لاسترداد أرض فلسطين المحتلة.

وقال الظواهري في الشريط المصور إن المكاسب السياسية يجب ألا يكون ثمنها باهظا، معتبرا أن الجهاد وحكم الشريعة هما البديل.

الرسوم المسيئة
كما دعا الرجل الثاني في القاعدة المسلمين إلى مقاطعة عدد من الدول الغربية بينها الدانمارك وفرنسا والنرويج بعد نشر صحفها الرسوم المسيئة إلى الرسول محمد عليه الصلاة والسلام. وقال إن الإساءة إلى الرسول الكريم جزء من الحملة الصليبية التي تقودها الولايات المتحدة ضد الإسلام.

وأضاف أن هذه الحملة تستمر بينما لا يسمح بالمساس بالسامية أو محرقة النازية أو مهاجمة الشواذ جنسيا في الغرب.

وأَوضح أن الرسولين الكريمين محمدا وعيسى عليهما السلام لم يعودا مقدسين في الغرب بينما لا تسمح القوانين الغربية بالتشكيك في المحرقة النازية، مستشهدا بما يحدث في فرنسا حيث يحظر الحجاب على الفتيات المسلمات بينما لا يستطيع الأب أن يمنع ابنته من ممارسة "الفاحشة".

Al Qaeda's Zawahri calls for strikes against West

DUBAI (Reuters) - Al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri called on Muslims to attack the West in an audio tape posted on the Internet on Saturday, urging similar strikes as those against New York, London and Madrid in recent years. In a video of his remarks aired by Al Jazeera television, Zawahri also urged the Islamist militant group Hamas not to recognize peace deals signed by the Palestinian Authority with Israel. He also called on Muslims to boycott countries where satirical cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad had been published, including Denmark, Norway, France and Germany, and said that Muslims should prevent the West from "stealing Muslims' oil."

"(Muslims have to) inflict losses on the crusader West, especially to its economic infrastructure with strikes that would make it bleed for years," said Zawahri, an Egyptian. "The strikes on New York, Washington, Madrid and London are the best examples," he said.

"We have to prevent the crusader West from stealing the Muslims' oil which is being drained in the biggest robbery in history," he added. It was not clear if the tape was made before the failed al Qaeda attack last month on a major Saudi oil facility. "Reaching power is not a goal by itself ... and no Palestinian has the right to give away a grain of the soil," said Zawahri in comments directed at Hamas. "The secularists in the Palestinian Authority have sold out Palestine for crumbs... Giving them legitimacy is against Islam."

The U.S. State Department dismissed the threats.

"No taped video threats will weaken our commitment to work with out allies in the international community to combat international terrorism and violent extremism, or to bring to justice those responsible for the murder of innocent civilians," said Justin Higgins, a U.S. State Department spokesman. Zawahri called on Muslims to give financial support to Islamic fighters, saying they were on the "front line" in defending Islam.

The audio track of the video aired partially by the satellite television channel was posted earlier on a Web site used by Islamist groups.

Commenting on Zawahri's remarks, Hamas official Osama Hamdan said the group had no intention of recognizing the deals. "The Hamas movement will not fail the Palestinian people and the (Islamic) nation," he told Al Jazeera. "There is nothing wrong with (offering) advice but what we want ... is support from the nation."

As well as physical attacks on the West, Zawahri, who is deputy to al Qaeda's leader Osama bin Laden, called for an economic boycott against several countries. "It is our duty to take part in a mass economic boycott of Denmark, Norway, France, Germany, and all countries that take part in this crusader attack against Islam," he said, referring to the cartoons first published in a Danish newspaper last year. He described the cartoons as part of a U.S.-led "crusader" campaign. "An example of the hatred of the crusaders led by America ... are the repeated offences against the personality of the Prophet Mohammad, may peace be upon him," Zawahri said.

Saturday's tape came as U.S. President George W. Bush concluded a visit to Pakistan, where Zawahri and Osama bin Laden are believed to be hiding.

Zawahri, who wore a black turban and a white robe, sat in front of a curtain. He did not appear to have a customary assault rifle next to him, in the tape which carried the logo of al-Sahab, al Qaeda's media arm. The Web posting said the tape was made in the Muslim month which approximately corresponded to February. Zawahri made reference to a ferry disaster on February 2 in the Red Sea.

Al-Zawahri: “The Way Forward Is The Path Of The Prophets And Messengers Which Is Jihad”

JUS News DeskIn a new audio tape released Saturday, Dr. Ayman al-Zawahri criticized the West for insulting the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh), urged Hamas not to recognize peace deals signed by the Palestinian Authority with Israel and reiterated that “inflicting losses on the crusader West” is the only way forward for the Muslim Ummah.

"The strikes on New York, Washington, Madrid and London are the best examples," he said.

In a video broadcast Saturday on Al-Jazeera, Al-Qaeda's No. 2 leader emphasized also that Hamas now has an obligation. "Reaching power is not a goal by itself ... and no Palestinian has the right to give away a grain of the soil. The infidels in the Palestinian Authority sold out Palestine for crumbs... Giving them legitimacy is against Islam.”

Not surprisingly. Hamas quickly distanced themselves from the Al-Qaeda instruction, saying Sunday that they (Hamas) has a different ideology than Al-Qaeda and won election through a “moderate” approach to Islam. Hamas’ efforts in Gaza and the West bank have long been viewed as an effort for political gain not Islam. Had Hamas raised the banner of the Black Flags, the Mujahideen would have flocked to protect it and the suffering of the Palestinians would have long been over. Now that the group has come to power, their national agenda is front and centre.

It is unclear is Dr. Zawahri's comments are directed to Hamas in advance of Mujahideen positioning themselves within the territories. There has been speculation for weeks, since the formation of the Mujahideen Shura Council in Iraq that Zarqawi may have moved into Palestine to open another Al-Qaeda front. While there has been no confirmation, all agree that some strategy is being enacted that will ultimately change the complexion of Al-Qaeda’s operations. Coupled with recent attacks on the largest oil facility in Saudi Arabia, expansion plans could be in the process and freeing Palestine is a well known objective of Sheikh Osama bin Laden.

Whatever the case, the 19 minute audio tape released by Dr. Zawahri with just 6 minutes aired by Al-Jazeera also answers calls from many Muslims who expected Al-Qaeda to avenge the printing of the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) in European newspapers. Zawahri said: "They did it on purpose and they continue to do it without apologizing” and stressed that in place of negotiations the way forward is “the path of prophets and messengers, which is jihad.”

Al-Qaeda's Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahri: “We Must Work On Four Fronts”

While mainstream news reports focused yesterday on the relatively minor aspects of Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahri’s latest audio statement, the heart of the Al-Qaeda leader’s message was a rally call to the Muslim Ummah urging action on four specifically defined fronts.

While Zawahri makes clear that attacks against the west are likely in the works in the 19 minutes audio tape released on Saturday, this should come as no surprise considering Sheikh Osama bin Laden made specific reference to this fact in his last address on January 19, 2006 also and of course aggression against Muslims is everywhere, from Iraq to Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay to Abu Ghraib. Considering all factors, future attacks on America soil seem assured and Al-Zawahri’s new message skillfully reminds the Ummah that the aggression against us is at unprecedented levels, using current events to rally the Muslim masses.

“Have we forgotten America’s pressure to put Waf’a Qustanteen and her sisters (an Egyptian Christian who converted to Islam) to be tortured in basements of churches fully under the American-Crusaders influence? Have we forgotten the Italian minister who wore a shirt decorated with those cartoons? What about the recent Abu Ghraib’s crimes? he comments. The west does all of that thinking that it is lawful to occupy our land, steal our wealth, and insult our prophet.

Dealing with these issues cannot be accomplished by demonstrations, burning Embassies and then go back home to our routine life. The way to deal with those issues requires the entire Ummah to stand up and each one must ask himself this question: Are we ready to sacrifice ourselves and our goods in the cause of Allah and to protect our Aqeeda? If we are ready to sacrifice everything for our Aqeeda, we must then stand up all together to repel this crusader’s campaign aimed at the heart of our Aqeeda” Al-Zawahri states in the new tape.

Al-Zawahri’s talk of unity is not new but rather he raises a timeless message amid fresh wounds, using the caricatures of the Prophet (pbuh) and the new reports of abuse at Abu Ghraib to highlight his points. And rightly so, with the level of rage within the Ummah at an all time high, a fact not lost on Al-Qaeda, what better time to engage Muslim sentiments with a message that has often fallen on deaf ears?

Dr. Al-Zawahri then lays out a plan, a methodology and a specific call to action. “We must work on four fronts” he says on the tape.

“The First Front is we must continue to cause maximum economic damage to the cross worshipers using strikes that make the enemy bleed for decades. We have seen the effect of the attacks on NY, Washington, D.C., Madrid, and London. We must deprive the cross worshipers from our oil and we must practice a full economic boycott against not only Denmark but all countries which participated or helped in the fight against Islam.

The Second Front is we must expel the cross worshipers and Jews from Muslim land, especially, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Palestine.

The Third front is we must change the current corrupt regimes. Those have sold hour honor to the west.

The Fourth front is everyone must do something about this one, Da’wa. Everyone must relentlessly do his part to make this Ummah get back to true Islam and true Tawhid and use none but Allah’s Shariah as the law of the land.”


In a video portion aired on Al-Jazeera, Al-Qaeda's No. 2 leader was clipped across from Hamas who was asked to comment of the Al-Qaeda reference. The segment was positioned as Al-Qaeda encouraging Hamas to stay strong. Thanks to JUS translators, in reviewing the full length audio file, Dr. Ayman Al-Zawahri did not show encouragement to Hamas but rather blasted the group with comments that can only be described as scolding the political group.

“Reaching position of power should be sought to establish Allah’s Shariah and not to share power with secular apostates. If we abandoned our religion, how are we going to implement Allah’s Shariah? Running for election simply means that allowing people to decide and legislate beside Allah, that would be a totally different religion, it is not Islam. One of the basic fundamentals of Tawhid is that Allah is the only law giver”.

Not surprisingly. Hamas quickly distanced themselves from the Al-Qaeda instruction as they did the Chechen Mujahideen, playing up to Russian authroties in Mosocow, the same Russians that are killing are brothers and sisters in Chechnya. Curiously, Hamas has, within a few short weeks, shown the entire world that the cause of Hamas is Hamas and not Allah as He exposes the hypocrites. Al-Zawahri then went on to say one of the most tell tale sentences in the new tape.

“Palestine is every Muslim’s problem. No one has the right to bargain with it according to his own desire”.

Whether his comments are in fact in advance of Al-Qaeda finally opening a Palestine front or whether they are simply exposing Hamas for what it is, a group the rose to power on the pain of Palestinians, yet remains to be seen. How many Palestinian mothers ache for their martyred sons who went bravely forth in the cause of Allah but who have inadvertently died for land instead?

What is clear is that, true to form, Dr. Al-Zawahri remains steadfast in his latest address that the way forward is “the path of prophets and messengers, which is jihad.” (JUS)
